The end of the year is coming quick!! Our last day of School is Friday, June 23rd but there is a lot happening between now and then!!
A few quick reminders:
Caldecott Winning Illustrator Beth Krommes comes to JA on Thursday June 8th and we are beyond excited. If you would like her to sign a book for your child please make sure to send it in that day and it should be well marked with your child's name and homeroom along with any special instructions if the book needs to be autographed for someone other than your child. Books must be purchased ahead of time and can be found at www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com. For more information on Ms. Kromes and her work check out her website http://bethkrommes.com
Our Books and Beyond Metal Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, June 9th. If your child achieved a level 8 or above in our books and beyond program join us as we celebrate them!! This ceremony takes place in the gym and kids are divided up by grade.
Kindergarten & 1st grade - 8:30 am
2nd & 3rd grade - 9:30 am
4th & 5th grade - 10:30 am
Field day is schedule for Wednesday, June 14th. We are looking for volunteers so if you are available please email jaschoolpto@gmail.com. More information to come as we get a little closer!
